THE TO-YOU TURNER
Helps you to see Hashem in everything.

The To-You Turner allows you to turn everything that you see up to Hashem, and at the same time to bring Hashem into everything that you see.
Based on the periscope, The To-You Turner is a wide, elliptical tube made of clear, see-through-plastic (please pretend the model in our diagram to the right is see-through) - wide enough for you to look into with both eyes - with an unbreakable mirror attached at the far end at a 45º angle. Since the sides are clear, you are able to see ahead, up, down and to the sides, and, at the same time, to direct a specific part of your vision upward through the mirror. It lacks the second, upper mirror of the periscope, so that your vision through the mirror is not directed back down onto things in this world but rather remains going only upward.
Look at something through it. When you feel your attention going out to that thing, look in the mirror and make part of your attention go up to Hashem also. The To-You Turner allows you to think of Hashem, and maybe even feel His presence, while you are involved with things in This World.
Take The To-You Turner with you wherever you go. Look through it at your workplace, at your home. Look at the people and objects in your life through it. Look at yourself in the mirror through it, look at your personality, at your body, your mind, etc. Look at the “people in your mind” about whom you always think. Look at them in your mind through The To-You Turner while you think of them. And while you look at each one of these things, direct some of your attention up to Hashem.
Look at your problems through it: either at the people in your life with whom you are having a problem, or at the problems that you have within yourself. By sensing Hashem’s presence along with the problem, you can realize that He is there with you while you are experiencing the difficulty and that He wants you to go through that specific problem so that you can fix it up and correct it by bringing Him into it and turning it to Him.
Generally, after using The To-You Turner just a few times, people experience a marked alteration in the way they view their world and all that is in it.

After people have become skilled in using The To-You Turner, it has been found that, when they don’t have the product with them, merely by their looking up to Hashem, without raising their eyebrows or head, they are able to experience some of the same effects as they get when using the product itself.
