THE THINKING-IN-LEARNING-ROOM PICTURE
Helps you to remember to think in learning.
Not only is thinking in learning important in its own right - since it can help you to correct your faults, tikun your middos, straighten up and purify your thinking and generally make you into a better person - but it can also save you from any of the ravages of life that might come your way. Whereas thinking words of chizuk and emunah are well known to help a person through difficult times, less well known is that simply repeating sections of the gemora over and over again will make whatever difficulty that is happening to you at the moment either disappear or seem like “a piece of pie.”
If you are upset about something - anything - any problem or worry or fear or nervousness or anything - it’s because you are not thinking in learning. As soon as you get yourself to think in learning, the upset will disappear.
When thinking in learning, it doesn’t matter which learning-thoughts you think: either a whole sugya, one certain machlokis, a gemora fragment, or even one phrase, no matter how small. The only important thing is that you think them.
If you are upset and want to keep being upset, don’t think in learning.
If you are upset and want to stop being upset, think in learning.
It’s as simple as that.
The problem what thinking in learning is that you forget to do it when you most need it. The Thinking-In-Learning-Room Picture can help you remember.
The Thinking-In-Learning-Room Picture is available, either framed or unframed, in wallet, desk or wall sizes.
And if anyone tells you that you are “escaping” by spending all your time in the Thinking-In-Learning Room rather than involving yourself in matters of this world, either don’t answer them at all (and think in learning instead), give them a SCOWL-AND-GLARE (see our product idea, The Excitement!!! Popper) and then think in learning, or, if you have to answer them, tell them matter-of-factly that thinking in learning is the way Hashem originally intended things to be and it is only because of the sin of Adam HaRishon that we have to be involved with matters of this world at all anyway (see our product idea, The Eitz HaChaim Thought Guarder), and then think in learning.

SELECTED RELEVANT QUOTATIONS FROM SEFORIM HAKEDOSHIM
· (Rashi, Devorim 6:7) “…and you shall speak of them…” The main part of your words should be in them [words of Torah]. Make them the fundamental part and don’t make them secondary.
· (Rashi, Mishlei 12:25) Occupy yourself with the Torah and it will gladden the worry that is in your heart, and it will save you from it.
· (Baal Shem Tov on the Torah, parshas Shimini, note 2, s.v. b’tolodos, from the sefer Tolodos Yaako Yosef) Don’t strain your mind to have the name of Hashem in front of you, specifically when it doesn’t appear in front of you by itself, for this is called taking the daughter of the king into captivity. Rather Hashem, be He blessed, should be in your thoughts constantly, one time delving into one posuk, and another posuk, until the name Havayah of Hashem passes before you by itself.
