While holding down the button on The Chutzpah Smasher, you don’t need to point the machine at the person or in any other particular direction (although you can if you want); you can either stay silent or give the person appropriate words of reproof and correction; you can either show the person that you are using the product against his or her chutzpah, or you can keep the fact hidden; and you can have a stern expression or a pleasant one. None of those things are important for the outcome. What is important, however, is that you keep holding down the button either until you see some improvement in the situation or until you decide that the person is not worth your bother, either for right now or forever.
